LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Forward Jack Cybulski was named PacWest Freshman of the Week on Monday after he scored a goal in each of Biola's matches last week. This is the first time Cybulski has been recognized with a conference award.

Cybulski ensured the Eagles ended their conference schedule on a high note by scoring the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Holy Names University. The freshman forward's goal came with three minutes left and assured Biola a winning record (7-5-1) in PacWest play during their first season in the conference.

Cybulski also scored in the second half of Biola's 3-1 win over Academy of Art to elevate his goal total to four on the year. All four of his goals came during conference play.

The Eagles finished their season with an even 8-8-2 record but fell just short of the qualification standard for NCCAA postseason play when Dixie State defeated Azusa Pacific on Saturday.
