LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The field for the 2017 National Christian College Athletic Association Women's Golf Championship was released early Wednesday morning. Biola Women's Golf is one of nine institutions in the field, competing at Hammock Beach Resort's Conservatory Course later this month.
Â
The Eagles come into the day with the third-best average round among the nine schools. Head Coach
Jane Carr's team has a team average of 311 in the first four rounds of the seasons. That's behind only Dallas Baptist's 297 and Southwestern Christian's 300.
Â
The tournament is scheduled for three rounds, one each day between October 23-25. The NCCAA will conduct a Christian Service Project in partnership with Samaritan's Feet and Rymsfire Boys & Girls Club on Sunday, October 22. All championship participants will serve over 120 local underprivileged children by washing their feet and providing new socks and shoes.
Â
See below for the full list of institutions qualified. Dallas Baptist won the 2016 championship by over 50 strokes.
