LA MIRADA, Calif. --- With a stellar performance at this past weekend's The Master's University XC Invitational Stephanie Croy earned Biola Cross Country's fourth NCCAA National Runner of the Week honors of the 2017 season.

The senior becomes the fourth Eagle to win the award as Head Coach Sean Henning's team continues to prove its depth of talent. Croy led the Eagles' effort for the first time this season and set a 2017 new top time for the program. She finished third overall and first among NCAA Division II competition with a 5k time of 17:48. Her previous best time this season was 18:00 (converted 5k time from UCR 6k).

Croy and the Eagles finished second to CSU San Marcos in the NCAA Division II competition. The team gets back at it this Saturday at the UC San Diego Triton Invite.
