EL CAJON, Calif. --- Biola scored three minutes into the match and cruised from there to a 3-0 victory over San Diego Christian College in a GSAC match on Saturday afternoon in El Cajon.

The Eagles improve to 7-2-2 with their second-straight win, moving to 2-1-0 in GSAC play. The Hawks drop to 2-7-1 on the season and to 0-3-0 in the conference.

A pair of Biola seniors teamed up to get things started as Cody Shelton's throw-in was headed into the back of the net by Zach Bautista just under three minutes into the contest.

The Eagles would add another goal just over 17 minutes later thanks to a pair of sophomores. Carlos Ballesteros sent a perfect pass into the middle of the box where Daniel Chew slid in and knocked it past the keeper to make it 2-0.

The score would remain the same despite a decided offensive edge held by Biola. The Eagles would allow San Diego Christian to take just eight total shots in the contest. Four of those were on frame with senior netminder Aaron Fenlason making four saves to record his second-straight shutout and fifth of the season. Biola took 17 shots in the match with senior Marco Ruvalcaba recording five.

With seven minutes left, Biola capped the scoring as sophomore Dylan Wingrove dribbled down the left-side, beat a defender and scored to make it a 3-0 game.

The Eagles return home for their next two matches, hosting Fresno Pacific University at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, then facing off against arch-rival Azusa Pacific University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
