SANTA CLARITA, Calif. --- Zach Bautista scored off a rebound in the 31st minute and Marco Ruvalcaba added his team-best sixth goal late as Biola picked up a big GSAC road victory on Tuesday, defeating The Master's College 2-0 and giving head coach Bryan Kuderman his 100th victory at the helm.

The Eagles pick up their second-straight win to improve to 9-5-2 on the season and move into fifth place in the conference with a record of 4-4-0 in GSAC play. The Mustangs drop to 10-3-3 overall and one point behind Biola with a 3-3-2 conference mark.

Kuderman, who is in his 10th season at Biola, became just the second coach in program history to win 100 matches with Tuesday's win. He now holds a 100-68-14 overall record for a .588 winning percentage, averaging just under 10 wins per season.

Bautista opened the scoring in the 31st minute, capping a dominating first half which saw the Eagles outshoot the Mustangs 7-1. The goal came off a rebound as Bautista slotted the loose ball to the lower right corner to give Biola a 1-0 lead.

The defense then stepped up and shut down the Mustangs from there, limiting the home side to just six second-half shots and just two shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Aaron Fenlason stopped both of those shots on goal and the Eagle defense kept the TMC offense from creating many chances the rest of the way.

Biola wrapped up the match with an important goal late as Ruvalcaba sent home a shot from distance and into the goal in the 87th minute with Bryan Dunckel earning the assist.

The Eagles close out the regular season with a home contest on Friday, welcoming No. 23 Vanguard to Al Barbour Field for a 7:00 p.m. start. The match is also senior night with Biola honoring its senior prior to the start of the contest.
