LA MIRADA, Calif. — Biola suffered a 6-3 conference loss to Hope International University on Tuesday at the Biola Tennis Center in La Mirada.

The Eagles fall to 6-11 on the season and 0-8 in conference play.

Biola picked up a win at No. 3 doubles to open the match as Sarah Snyder and Kelli Shiroma cruised to an 8-3 win.

Shiroma picked up her second point of the day during the singles competition, downing Allison Hotz 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. Biola's other victory was by Marisa Flores, who came from behind for a 3-6, 6-0, 10-1 victory at No. 4 singles.

The Eagles host a tough non-conference opponent in their next match, welcoming Cal State LA to the Biola Tennis Center on Friday for a 2:00 p.m. match.
