CLAREMONT, Calif. — Claremont College opened its season with a 9-0 sweep over Biola. Tyler Jung had a strong match at No. 2 singles for the Eagles, rebounding from a 6-1 loss in the opener to force a tiebreaker in the second game. However, his opponent, Mike Starr, pulled out the game by winning the tiebreaker 7-5.

Biola returns to action on Friday, Feb. 15 against Westmont College at 3:30 p.m.
