SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Biola played close during the doubles matches but could not pull out a victory on the afternoon, falling 9-0 to Westmont College on Tuesday at Westmont.

The three doubles matches were relatively tight, with the No. 3 doubles match going to distance. Justin Mart and Tyler Groenink combined to battle Ryley Schultz and Chris Hill. Both teams stayed on serve until a late win by Westmont gave them the match.

Biola retuns to the courts on Saturday (Mar. 1) to host Fresno Pacific University.
