LA MIRADA, Calif. — Biola picked up a pair of singles wins from Kristen Williams and Sarah Snyder, but lost 7-2 to The Master's College on Saturday afternoon at the Biola Tennis Complex in La Mirada.

The Eagles dropped their second-straight match to fall to 0-2 on the season.

Williams picked up an impressive win at No. 5 singles. After dropping the first game 6-2, she rallied back and held a 5-1 lead in the second before her opponent withdrew due to an injury.

At No. 6 singles, Snyder won in straight sets over her opponent, taking the match 6-1, 6-3.

The Eagles No. 3 doubles tandem of Marisa Flores and Snyder played very well and nearly pulled of a victory, stretching the game to a tiebreaker before falling 9-8 (7-5).

Biola returns to action on Tuesday (Feb. 19) for a home match against the University of Alberta at the Biola Tennis Center. Introductions begin at 2:00 p.m.
