LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Nine home games and a number of tough non-conference contests highlight the 2007 Biola University women's soccer schedule released by Head Coach Mike Silzer earlier this week.
The Eagles' season will feature a number of games against NCAA Division I and II teams including a road contest on Sept. 4 at Cal State Dominguez Hills and a home match on Oct. 8 versus Cal State San Bernardino. They also travel north to face NCAA Division I Cal State Bakersfield on Oct. 19.
Biola opens the regular season with a home game against Oregon Tech on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Al Barbour Field. The Eagles also host non-conference games against Trinity International University (Ill.) on Sept. 14 and Cal State San Marcos on Sept. 20 before opening Golden State Athletic Conference play at The Master's College on Sept. 22.
Vanguard University provides the opposition for the Eagles' first GSAC home game on Sept. 26. Arch-rival Azusa Pacific, which reached the NAIA Championship game in 2006, visits La Mirada on Saturday, Oct. 13. Other home GSAC games are against Fresno Pacific (Oct. 2), Hope International (Oct. 10) and a senior night contest against San Diego Christian on Oct. 27).
