SANTA BARBARA, Calif. --- For the second time in two weeks, Westmont College defeated Biola University, this time by a 9-0 score in a non-conference match in Santa Barbara on Thursday.

The Eagles fall to 1-8 on the season while the Warriors improve to 6-3.

Biola had its closest match come at No. 3 singles where Joel Huibregtse won the first set over Davis Moore by a score of 6-2, but Moore took the second, 6-1. The two played a full third-set tiebreaker with Moore walking off with a 6-1 win and the match.

The Eagles host the University of La Verne on Saturday (Mar. 10) at 9:30 a.m.
