LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Despite a couple of close calls, Biola was unable to pull out a win as Baker University of Kansas swept the Eagles 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the Biola Tennis Complex.

The Eagles fall to 1-10 on the season with the loss.

Biola's closes call came at No. 3 singles where Joel Huibregtse battled No. 33-ranked Jose Mota, but fell 7-5, 6-2.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday (Mar. 20) to face GSAC foe Hope International in Fullerton.
