LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Junior forward Danny Jones scored a game-high 24 points and added 12 rebounds as Biola University completed a season sweep of The Master's College with an 82-61 victory Tuesday night at Chase Gymnasium in La Mirada.

With the win, the Eagles have now won three of their last four games and improve to 13-11 on the season. The sit in the middle of the pack in GSAC play at 7-7. The Mustangs fall to 10-13 and 6-8 in the conference.

Biola had little trouble from The Master's throughout the game thanks to hot shooting. The Eagles shot 56.4 percent from the field in the game and hit 61 percent of their shots in the second half (17-of-28).

Biola broke a 10-10 tie wit a 15-3 run spanning five minutes in the first half to open a 12-point lead. The Master's closed the gap to five at 30-25 with 4:24 to go before the Eagles stretched the lead back to nine at halftime.

In the second, Biola extended its lead from 11 to 22 in the blink of an eye thanks to a 13-2 run. The Eagles led by as many as 26 with 2:18 to go before setting for the 21 point victory.

Biola had four players in double-figures, led by Jones' 24. Danny Campbell scored 13 points off the bench and drained three three-pointers. Matt Emadi scored 12 points with Marlon King adding 10.

The Mustangs were led by the 19 points of Lucian Pesoli with guard Ryan Zamroz adding 17.

Biola returns to conference play on Saturday (Feb. 10), traveling to Cal Baptist for a GSAC game scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
