COSTA MESA, Calif. - The Biola women's volleyball team made short work of another opponent Saturday, sweeping Lewis-Clark State by scores of 30-20, 30-20 and 30-25 to close out the Concordia Labor Day Festival.
The Eagles (6-2 overall) received another outstanding performance from sophomore Meghan Scheenstra, who recorded 20 kills to lead the attack.
Biola finishes the tournament with a strong 3-1 record, including a sweep over No. 7 Houston Baptist in the opener Friday.
The Eagles played near-perfect volleyball in the win over Lewis-Clark State, hitting .373 for the match after hitting over .400 in the first two games.
Biola opens Golden State Athletic Conference play on the road on Tuesday (Sept. 5) at No. 2 Fresno Pacific.
