Eagles End Season In Riverside

After splitting the two playoff games Tuesday in Riverside, the Biola Eagles (32-14) came back on Wednesday to face Concordia in an elimination game in which Biola fell by the score of 6-3.

Amerra Kesterson finished her amazing year with a 2-2 performance which gives her the Biola record for hits in a season, with 78, as well as batting average in a season (.497). Kesterson found her way into the records books in many different categories this season, including the Biola homerun (10) and triples (16) records. Her 16 triples were good enough to tie the NAIA record.

Keena Levert also pitched in on offense with her 1-3 game, which included her eighth bomb of the season. Levert's homerun puts her in the Biola record book for second all time in homeruns in a season

Katie Gustaveson got the start for Biola and went 4.2 innings, allowing six runs, two earned, on four hits to record the loss. Tatiana Garcia came in a pitched the final two innings shutting out Concordia, only allowing two hits the rest of the way.
