NAIA National Swim Championship (Mar. 2-4)
The Biola swim team returned home from their five-day trip to the NAIA National Swim Meet on Monday with nine new school records and two top-ten team finishes.

The new school records for the women are:

50 Free - Christina Piakak - 25.08

100 Free - Shannon Lawrence - 54.67

200 Breast - Ashley McLaughlin - 2:28.24

100 Fly - Christina Piakak - 59.78

200 Free Relay - 1:40.42 Sarah Warkentin, Meghan Samsvick, Shannon Lawrence, Christina Piakak

400 Free Relay - 3:39.50 Sarah Warkentin, Jessica Cresap, Christina Piakak, Shannon Lawrence

800 Free Relay - 8:13.00 Jessica Cresap, Lindsey Hagensen, Shannon Lawrence, Sarah Warkentin

200 Medley Relay - 5:32.26 Leigh Martinez, Ashley McLaughlin, Christina Piakak, Sarah Warkentin

For the Men: 100 Breast - Erik Scott - 1:02.79

The women's team came in sixth place at the end of competition and the men finished in tenth.
