It was a bitter night for the Lady Eagles of Biola (10-19, 6-14 GSAC) as they dropped their final game of the season to California Baptist University (14-16, 8-12 GSAC), but it was also a sweet night as they celebrated the wonderful careers of four seniors.

The game was a hard fought battle that was decided by free throws at the end. The Eagles struggled from the line shooting just 5-21 (23.8%) while the Lancers shot a solid 13-15 (80%).

All four seniors who were honored after the game scored at least six points in the contest, with Linda Ogugua leading the way with 15 points to go along with her 14 rebounds. Crystal Duncan added nine points and seven rebounds as Lindsey Richelli scored nine points of her own. Jessica Velasquez also chipped in her six points and six rebounds.

The Lancers were led by the hot shooting of Erin Greenberg who was 7-8 from the field, which totaled 17 points in the game. Vanessa Wilt did her part as she added 16 point and seven rebounds. Noelle Conroy and Nicole Davis also reached double figures in points as they scored 15 and 13 respectively.

The Eagles end their season just out of the playoff reach but will head into the off season and return next season with high hopes and expectations.
