After it was all said and done, the outcome of the game Tuesday night in La Mirada against California Baptist ended up meaning more to the Lancers than it to Biola.

The hot shooting of Ron Bailey and company vaulted the Lancers (13-15, 8-12 GSAC) to a 74-67 road win over Biola.

With the loss, Biola ends the season at 19-11 overall and 11-9 in the GSAC and is seeded fifth in the upcoming conference tournament, which will have Point Loma Nazarene hosting the Eagles Thursday night at 7:30.

CBU had a quartet of players score at least 10 points with Junior Denson nailing six out of seven free throws down the stretch as part of his 16-point, six assist evening.

Andrew Bruckner also provided a solid inside presence for the Lancers with 13 points and a game-high eight rebounds while Jemell Swafford rounded out the double figure scorers with ten.

Biola made it interesting on senior night cutting an 18-point deficit to as little as six, but the 61.9% shooting of the red-hot Lancers proved to be too much.

The Eagles were led by senior forward Brandon Warner with 17 points and seven rebounds while senior Paul Guerrero (14), junior Solomon Mercado (13) and junior Spencer Foster (11) each cracked the double-digit point mark.
