The Lady Eagles of Biola (10-18, 6-13 GSAC) dropped another hard fought contest in Irvine on Friday afternoon as the Eagles from Concordia (15-13, 10-9 GSAC) got the lead and never looked back.

Biola got within four points late in the second half but that was as close as they would come in another game that just did not fall the right way. The Eagles have been playing close games lately but have not been able to close the deal as they have now dropped two straight and five out of their last seven.

The Eagles were once again led by the dominating force of Linda Ogugua who had her second double-double in as many games as she scored 15 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Megann Alberts also reached double digits in rebounds with 11 to go along with her nine points.

Concordia was led by Tristen Ryen who led all scorers with 18 points and added eight rebounds. Liz Torres and Kristine Jensen also scored double figures as they added 16 and 15 points respectively.

Biola heads home on Monday night to face the Lancers from California Baptist University at 5:30 in La Mirada for the last regular season game.
