Helping Biola become the only team to win all three of their GSAC games last week, senior forward Brandon Warner was named the conference's men's basketball player of the week.

Warner averaged 17 points, eight rebounds and 3.3 assists in helping the Eagles climb to within striking distance of hosting a first round playoff match in the upcoming GSAC tournament that is set to begin Thursday, March 2nd.

Shooting 59% from the floor and making 13 of 15 foul shots, Warner greatly assisted the Eagles in knocking off a ranked opponent in No.16 San Diego Christian while also defeating Fresno Pacific in Fresno and a team in Westmont that now sits a half game behind Biola in the GSAC race with just three left to play.

Biola is currently on a four-game winning streak and looks to continue its hot play tonight in San Diego versus Point Loma Nazarene.
