Eagles Improve to 2-0 With 74-54 Win Over Cal Maritime

OAKLAND, Calif. --- The Biola Eagles ran their record to 2-0 on the season with a 74-54 victory over Cal Maritime to close out the Holy Names Classic Saturday night in Oakland.

The Eagles were led by junior forward Danny Jones, who poured in 18 points and added 11 rebounds. Jones was 6-for-10 from the field on the night.

Senior guard Matt Emadi added 15 points in the winning effort.

Biola played well down low, outrebounding the Keelhaulers by a 42-28 margin.

The Eagles host NAIA Division II No. 9-ranked Holy Names on Friday (Nov. 10) at 7:30 p.m. at Chase Gymnasium. It will be the second time in a week Biola faces the Cougars, having dispatched of them 75-68 on Friday.
