LA VERNE, Calif. --- The Biola men's and women's swim teams swept the University of La Verne in dual meet action in La Verne on Saturday morning.

The Biola women had little trouble, outscoring the Leopards 109-74 while the men had to hold on for an 87-78 victory.

During the meet, freshman Zachary Perkins broke the Biola men's record in the 50 free with a time of 22.26. The old record was 22.28.
