LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Four cross country runners from Biola University have earned all-academic honors from the Golden State Athletic Conference for the 2006 season.

Senior Brittany Gomes and juniors Danielle Simpson, Sara Bair, and Amanda Stephens earned the honor awarded to juniors and seniors which maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher and compete in a minimum of one-third of scheduled contests.

Gomes is a nursing major while Simpson and Bair are studying psychology. Stephens is working toward the completion of a sociology degree.

The Eagles wrap up the 2006 season as Gomes, Anna Thibodo and Brian Ball run at the NAIA National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 18, in Louisville, Kentucky.
