EL CAJON, Calif. --- The No. 16-ranked Biola volleyball team ran its winning streak to six matches with a 30-23, 30-14, 30-22 win over San Diego Christian on Tuesday night in El Cajon.
The win moves Biola's overall record to 18-10 and 10-7 in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
Junior Brittany Wing recorded 14 kills without an error in 29 attempts to lead the way for the Eagles.
Sophomore Kelsey Mitchell added 10 kills and 10 digs.
Freshman setter Abbie Wright continued her strong play with 49 assists, four aces, six digs, and a kill.
Aundrea Johnston led the way for San Diego Christian, recording 15 of the team's 29 kills.
The Biola defense held SDCC to a .083 hitting percentage while posting a .375 mark of its own.
The Eagles put their winning streak on the line with a home match against No. 11 Point Loma Nazarene on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m in Chase Gymnasium.
