Kris Ross has been assisting Head Coach Jonathan Zimmerman for the past 12 years. She has served in various coaching positions at Biola, Long Beach City College and Orange Lutheran. She also works as a professor and coordinator for the wellness program at Santa Ana College.

Ross earned a BA in Physical Education (now kinesiology) with an emphasis in community and fitness from California State University, Long Beach. While at CSULB she also earned her MA in Physical Education (now kinesiology) with an emphasis in exercise science.

During her playing days she earned several all-league and most valuable player awards while competing in softball, basketball, volleyball and track.

Ross resides in Buena Park, Calif. with her husband Chris. They have two sons, Kyle and Cody. Kyle ran cross country and track at Biola and graduated in December 2010. Cody was a 2012 NCAA national champion in sprint football at West Point.

In her spare time she enjoys competing in triathlons, golfing and doing anything that is fun and active. She volunteers at the West Point Parent Club Orange County and has been to Africa on a mission trip.
