Biola sophomore midfielder Sava Pantic tied a school record with 15 points, scoring a record-tying six goals and adding three assists as the Eagles defeated Pacific Union College 15-0 in a non-conference match on Tuesday night at Al Barbour Field.
Pantic, who comes to Biola from Belgrade, Serbia, tied an old school record with six goals in the game including four-straight at one point. The only other time a Biola player scored six goals in a match came in 1969 when Musa Dogonyaro scored six of Biola's nine goals in a 9-3 win over Pomona College. In addition, Pantic also assisted on three other goals to give him a school-record 15 points in the match.
For the season, Pantic has seven goals and three assists for a team-best 17 points. He had just one assist in 19 matches last season.
