Victoria Dalla Zanna scored the only goal in a matchup between the Eagles and a NCAA Division II opponent, the Notre Dame de Namur Argonauts.
Her goal came late in the game, past the 60 minute mark, and was her third goal of the season. Her three tallies this year surpass her previous season high of two, which she has scored each of the previous three seasons.
Dalla Zanna has stepped up into a leadership position on the squad this season, and she is making the most of her newfound minutes, taking the third most shots on the squad. Dalla Zanna's seven starts this year is one more than the combined total of her first three seasons.
She looks to keep the good times rolling as she and her teammates take on The Master's in the GSAC-opener of Tuesday.
