Freshman catcher Bria Madrid helped Biola's impressive run through the GSAC/CalPac Softball Tournament by going 5-for-12 including six BRIS and a run scored.

In No. 6 seed Biola's first tournament game, Madrid drove in all three runs in a 3-2 upset win over No. 3 Vanguard including a clutch, two-run single in the top of the seventh.

She followed that up the next day with a big three-run home run in the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie and give the Eagles a 3-0 upset win over No. 4 seed William Jessup.

Madrid finished second on the team with a .287 batting average, recording a team-high 30 RBIs with three home runs.
