LA MIRADA---The Biola women's soccer team kicked off their 2025 season with an 1-0 exhibition game victory against The Master's University. 

Briley Phelps delivered what would be the game-winning goal in the 8th minute. 

Phelps, Peyton Nelson and Marije Rechin led their team with 85 minutes of action. 

Autum Monty and Laura Brennan split time in the goal. Monty started the match and played through the first half, making two saves to defend the Eagles' lead. Brennan started the second half and closed out the game.

Biola opens up the season on Thursday, September 4 at 12:30 p.m. against Cal State San Marcos.
