LA MIRADA --- Kendall Vandertuig was named PacWest Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Vandertuig earned back-to-back PacWest Player of the Week honors on Monday after two standout performances against Azusa Pacific and Vanguard. She recorded 46 kills hitting .360 over the two matches.

"Kendall just continues to show that she's one of the most dominant players in the conference." said head coach Brian Failinger, "What a joy it is to see all the hard work that she puts in pay off. She's a great example of how consistent work can lead to great success."

Against APU, Vandertuig logged a season-high 27 kills and 15 digs. She hit .375 on 56 total attempts. Against Vanguard, Vandertuig logged another double-double with 19 kills and 13 digs. She leads the PacWest in kills with 356 over 92 sets. 

Vandertuig and the Eagles will host Senior Night against Fresno Pacific on Friday at 7 p.m.
