LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Saturday's rematch with Cal State Dominguez Hills will be a good test to see how much the Biola Eagles have improved since the start of the season just three weeks ago. Head Coach Alan Nakaura's group has won three-straight since the Toros won in a close call to open the season and has posted an average margin of victory of over 20 points over those three contests. The Eagles are still posting their impressive number of steals and forced turnovers that they did against CSUDH on November 9. But they are converting more of their scoring opportunities now and have shot over 47 percent from the field over the last three weeks, including a 53.3 percent clip at Hope International in Biola's 78-60 win on Saturday.Â
Biola will also be bringing a number of hot hands to Carson with how well the points were distributed in their last road win. In addition to Danita Estorga scoring in double figures for the fifth-straight games, the Eagles had five other women score at least 10 points. Jazz Benn recorded her first double-double of the year to go along with five assists and three steals. Mikayla Greens scored 12 points on perfect shooting from the field and the free throw line. And Stephanie Lee was named PacWest Freshman of the Week for the second time in the first three weeks of the season after scoring 11 points off the bench while chipped in four rebounds, two steals and two assists. All that is in addition to the work Tatum Brimley and Aysia Johnson are doing to facilitate the offense and add a few points of their own when their number is called.
Biola Women's Basketball starts the week with a number of statistical leaders in the PacWest and the NCAA. The Eagles have four women in the conference's top-five for steals, resulting in the highest steals total (68) among teams in the PacWest. Biola also has the most assists in the PacWest (79) while having the second-most blocks and second-highest free throw percentage in the conference. Mikalya Greens is still perfect from the free throw line after 13 attempts and Estorga isn't far behind with her FT percentage of 94.1 (16-for-17).

BIOLA (3-2) at Cal State Dominguez Hills (4-2): Saturday November 30 at 1 p.m.\\ Live Stats \\ Live Video
The Toros won three of their next four games after defeating Biola 78-71 on November 9, including victories over PacWest peer Fresno Pacific (85-76) and overtime victory in their conference opener against San Francisco State. Even after six games, Cal State Dominguez Hills still has five women who are averaging 9.8 points per game or more while the team as a whole is shooting 42 percent from the field this season.Â
The thing to watch out for on Saturday will be how the Toros fare from beyond the arc. Cal State Dominguez Hills hit 10 three-pointers in its win over Biola and 12 in the victory over San Francisco State. But CSUDH has gone ice-cold from three in its losses, making five three across those two contests. If the Eagles can limit the three-point ball while also accounting for the Toros' strong rebounding (CSUDH averages just under 20 offensive rebounds per contest), they'll have the primary ingredients of their formula for victory.Â
Saturday's game will be played at the
Torodome on the Cal State Dominguez Hills campus. Parking permits are customarily $9 while tickets to the game is $8 for general admission and $5 for seniors. More information on tickets can be found on the Toros'
information page.Â
