BIOLA (8-10, 6-6 PacWest) vs CHAMINADE (4-12, 3-9 PacWest): Thursday Jan. 31 8:30 p.m. (PT) \\ Live Stats \\ Live Video ($9/game)
Throughout the three-game trip to Hawaii, the Eagles will play each team two to three days after they have played Azusa Pacific. The Cougars visited Chaminade on Monday and handed the Silverswords an 83-59 loss after super-sub Rachel Bozlee made nine of APU's 10 three-pointers on the evening. Chaminade's defense surrendered 20 points or more in three quarters during the loss and was outrebounded 47-26 while Destiny Castro was the only women to score in double figures on the offensive end. As she did for the majority of last season, Castro leads the Silverswords in points (19.5 ppg), rebounds (6.7 rpg) and assist (3.7 apg) headed into the meeting with Biola. Castro has scored at least 14 points in nine-straight games but was limited to just nine on 2-of-13 shooting in Chaminade's last meeting with Biola last February. The Eagles will also be looking to control the rebounding battle on Thursday with Chaminade's recent struggle on the boards. Biola has out-rebounded its opponent in four-straight road games.

BIOLA (8-10, 6-6 PacWest) at HAWAII PACIFIC (13-5, 11-1 PacWest): Saturday Feb. 2 at 4 p.m. (PT) \\ Live Stats \\ Live Video ($7.95/game)
The 11-1 Sharks will clash with the 14-0 Cougars on Wednesday before hosting Biola on Saturday and have demonstrated the ability to win both offensive shootouts and defensive battles. Hawaii Pacific's average margin of victory during PacWest play is basically 20 points at 19.75 points per game and the Sharks are undefeated at home headed into this week. The Eagles will have to put in the effort to keep up with the Sharks for the get-go, as HPU's customary starters each average at least 8.4 points per game. But Biola did just that against the Sharks in their last meeting, holding a lead over HPU at the end of each of the first three quarters when these teams met at Chase Gym on January 20, 2018. The Eagles drained more three-pointers than HPU did to put the pressure on the Sharks in that game. But Hawaii Pacific pulled down 13 offensive boards and eventually won the rebound battle en route to the victory. Hawaii Pacific is a strong rebounding team again this year and hasn't been out-rebounded by an opponent since November 25, so Biola will have to pay a lot of attention to the glass in this matchup

BIOLA (8-10, 6-6 PacWest) at HAWAII HILO (5-11, 2-10 PacWest): Monday Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. (PT) \\ Live Stats \\ Live Video ($8.95/game)

The Vulcans just picked up their second PacWest win of the season last week in a squeaker over Notre Dame de Namur. But the Eagles still need to stay focused for final game of the trip due to the travel demands. After playing in Honolulu on Saturday, the Eagles will need to fly to Hilo and get settled in new accomodations on Sunday before lacing up the next night. It will be particularly important for the Eagles to stay sharp and opportunistic in their game against the Vulcans because Hawaii Hilo's offense has regularly had at least one slow quarter during its games over the past three-plus weeks: the Vulcans have scored 10 points or less in at least one quarter of five of their last six games. They do have a big-time scorer in Allie Navarette, who scored at least 20 points in three-straight games from Jan. 12 to Jan. 19 and averages 18.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game

HAWAII HILO TICKETING INFORMATION

LAST WEEK:
The Eagles head to Hawaii having played excellent defensive in their two previous games and should make the effort to pack the hustle with them for the three-game stretch. In their exhibition this past Tuesday against Westcliff, Biola limited the Warriors to 10 points or fewer in all four quarters and prevented Westcliff from scoring for the final 8:30 of the game. Then the Eagles played more shutout defense on Saturday, preventing Fresno Pacific from scoring for the first 3:30 of the fourth quarter in a very close 60-57 loss. The Eagles restricted the Sunbirds to just 20 second-half points, including just eight in the fourth quarter to cut a eight-point halftime deficit to just three points in the closing minute. The three-point shot was also crucial for Head Coach Alan Nakamura's group last week, as eight makes from beyond the arc helped create a big and early lead against Westcliff while four second-half treys helped pull Biola back into Saturday's contest. Tatum Brimley drained five three-pointers last week, with three coming in the run at the Sunbirds on Saturday, and has scored 15 points in two of the last three games. Danita Estorga also had a strong performance last week, producing 10 points in both games and earning a start against Fresno Pacific. She is now second on the team for total points this season behind Jazz Benn and figures to play a big role for Biola this week if the Eagles look to emphasize scoring the ball.

CONFERENCE TICKER:
While Azusa Pacific continues to run the table in PacWest play, there was a significant upset last week in San Diego as Point Loma knocked off Dominican. The Penguins slipped to third place in the PacWest standings with the 82-74 loss while Point Loma unseated Biola from fifth place after winning their third-straight conference game. The Sea Lions made it four in a row when they defeated Academy of Art last Saturday to improve to 9-5 in PacWest play and pull themselves within a half-game of Fresno Pacific. And after Chaminade and Notre Dame de Namur found themselves in three and four-game losing streaks, respectively, Concordia now stands as the only team breathing down Biola's neck for sixth place in conference. Concordia is 6-7 on PacWest play after losing to Dominican last Saturday and will play Point Loma next on February 2.
