Leo Contreras led Biola to two victories on the week between Oct. 5-11. He helped Biola climb into first place in the Golden State Athletic Conference with a 4-1 win over William Jessup and 3-1 win over Menlo.

Contreras was an offensive force for the Eagles in a week where he scored once and added two assists. in helping the Eagles outscore opponents 7-2.

All of Contreras' contributions for the week came in the Thursday evening win over William Jessup when he contributed to each of the first three goals ending with his own beautiful header off a corner kick from Kousei Mattox.

He played 75 of the 90 minutes on Saturday in steamy conditions at Al Barbour Field in the win over Menlo.

Contreras added two more goals to his season tally in a 4-3 win on the road against San Diego Christian earlier this week to further solidify Biola's first place standing.

He and the Eagles play their final regular season home game of the season this Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against Hope International.
