Joclyn Kirton was every bit the senior leader that Head Coach Aaron Seltzer needed her to be for the Eagles' first four matches of the 2015 season.

She was second on the team with 56 kills, but led the top attackers with her .417 hitting percentage in wins over No. 14 College of Idaho, No. 5 Rocky Mountain, No. 13 Davenport and Great Falls (Mont.).

No. 2 Biola had to fight through two five-set matches on day one of the 2015 Biola Volleyball/Red Lion-Anaheim Summer Slam, eventually defeating the Yotes and Battlin' Bears by slim margins. Kirton was ultra-effective in each of those matches, combining for 28 kills on opening day and hitting above .250 in both contests.

The 17 kills against Rocky Mountain was the highest single-match total she had in the first week. She had more than 17 kills in a match just twice in 2014; the year she earned her second NAIA All-American honor.

She and the 4-0 Eagles are back in action inside of Chase Gym this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. They play host to Oklahoma City.
