Julian Jarrard started the week a bit slow, going just 1-for-6 in Biola's 12-10 victory over Providence Christian, but he broke out in a big way against No. 6 The Master's College.
Jarrard went 6-for-8 against TMC to bump his batting average on the week to .500. He finished the week with seven hits, two walks and two hit-by-pitches to reach base 11 times.
Two of those hits came on homeruns, bringing his season total up to eight after blasts in back-to-back games to start The Master's College series. He's fifth in the nation in homeruns this season, three behind Seth Brown of Lewis-Clark State.
He helped the Eagles to a 2-2 record this year, including an upset victory over the Mustangs on Friday afternoon. The team looks to continue its strong performances from the last few weeks when it travels to No. 18 Concordia this weekend.
