Paige Austin helped Biola to another noteworthy week as she played a role in the Eagles' ability to post a 3-1 record and earn a critical win over No. 5 ranked Dixie State.

The freshman led the Eagles by pitching 14.2 innings spread across three appearances on the week. All three of her appearances came in games Biola won, while she earned the pitching win herself to go 2-0.

She allowed just six hits and struck out 14 batters as she dominated against Simpson and the No. 5 Trailblazers. Austin's game two win over Dixie State was especially impressive as she went the complete game and limited the team that had just hung nine on Biola to just three runs on four hits.

Austin and Biola host California Baptist on Wednesday evening and play at Concordia University Irvine on Saturday in another busy week of important PacWest games.
