Selina Sherlin had a monster week at the dish in leading Biola to a 4-2 record in games against Vanguard, Embry-Riddle and Arizona Christian.
She and the team were especially effective in their four games in Arizona, pounding the ball all over the ballpark in each series.Â
In the six games this week the freshman compiled 10 hits in her 18 at bats (.556 BA), including two walks for a .600 on-base percentage. That OBP was second on the team to Heather Hall, who also had a huge weekend.
Sherlin also added her third homerun of the season on Friday, a three-run shot late in the Eagles' 16-2 victory over ERAU.
In total she posted eight RBI and five runs scored over the six games played. Her eight RBI were one-fifth of Biola's 41 total.
She and the Eagles face Southern Oregon, CSU San Marcos and Hope International this week.
