Chelsea Hill had the game of her career on Wednesday, tying her career-high and setting a new Biola season-best for points, 26, in a one-point loss to CSU San Marcos. Hill got to those 26 points with one of the most impressive shooting displays in Biola Women's Basketball history, going 11-12 from the field.
She came close to her career-high is rebounds with 10 boards in that one, good enough for her third double-double of the season.
The Eagles got into the win column in a big way on Saturday night, crushing the team that ended their season in 2013-14, Hope International, 85-59. Hill was one of five Biola players in double-digit scoring that night, finishing with the second-most points (14).
She added six rebounds, two blocks, four steals and two dimes in an all-around solid 29 minutes on the court.
Hill is having her most complete season as an Eagle in 2014-15. She's now tied or set new career records in single-game points (26), rebounds (13) and field goals made (11).
She and the first place 12-6 (4-0 GSAC) Eagles continue their conference slate with two tough road matchups this week. They face two teams tied for No. 10 in the nation, beginning at Concordia on Tuesday and finishing with Vanguard on Saturday.
