Ashley Spadt had a huge week at the plate for the Eagles. She improved her season batting average to .667 and led the Eagles to a 3-0 week. 

She began her week with a perfect 4-4 game, getting more than half of the Eagles' overall hits in the contest. The most important hit she got was the game-winning RBI single to walk off the game in the bottom of the eighth.

She was perfect again in game two, going 1-1, walking twice and scoring two runs in Biola's 4-0 win over La Sierra. The win moved the Eagles to 4-0 on the season, and helped the team continue its best start since 2007.

The third game of the week was the opener of what was supposed to be a six-game stretch at the Simpson tournament. The weather rained out the final five contests, but Spadt and her teammates got in what was the most important of the scheduled games.

She went 3-3 and got her first extra-base hit of the season in a 1-0 win over No. 13 College of Idaho.

She and the Eagles will continue their season this Friday with a home game against Menlo.
