Biola University Athletics

The Eagles went 3-0 this week at the 2013 Asics/Wyndham Labor Day Classic, and that was thanks in large part to sophomore opposite hitter Joclyn Kirton.
 
Kirton led Biola in kills in games against Carroll College and Westminster with 13+ kills in each game. She also tacked on seven more in a four set match against Cornerstone.
 
She hit the ball very well in the first two matches, earning a .323 hitting PCT through those two contests, only suffering six attack errors in six sets played.
 
Kirton is now third on the squad with 68 kills on the year, ranking behind just Alyssa Mason and Amy Weststeyn.
 
She and the Eagles look to extend their seven game season-opening winning streak later this week against CSU San Marcos (8-2) and La Sierra (4-0) at the Vanguard Tournament.
