Nathaniel Belden competed in two events this weekend at the Long Beach State Beach Opener and the junior set personal-best marks in both of those. 

Belden competed well in the pouring rain, setting a new pr in the long jump with a leap of 6.50m, finishing 11th. He then was the Eagles' top finisher in the 110m hurdles, finishing 10th with a :15.21.

The Eagles are back in action this coming weekend at Occidental College's Oxy Distance Carnival/Spring Break Classic and at CSU Fullerton for the Ben Brown Invitational.
