Paula Damas helped Biola go 2-2 on the week with a big road doubleheader against No. 9 Concordia Irvine and a home set vs. Adelphi (N.Y.).

Damas threw over 10 innings on the week and went 1-1 with an ERA in the low-2.00s. She went all but the last inning in Biola's 3-2 game two win over Adelphi, holding the Panthers to just two hits spread across the six innings of work.

For the week she allowed opponents just a .167 batting average (6 hits in 10.1 innings). She already has 30.1 innings this season, which is more than half of what she threw all of last year.

The Eagles hit the road this week to face PacWest Conference NorCal opponents Holy Names and Academy of Art. Biola will play eight conference contests between Thursday and next Tuesday.
