Alex Talma helped Biola finish up its Northern California road trip with a 3-1 record thanks to three big games last week. He averaged 17.3 points-per-game and brought down eight rebounds-per-game while making almost 60 percent of his shots.

His biggest game came against Dominican on Thursday night, when he went 10-of-10 from the floor with a trio of free throws to pile on 23 points against the Penguins. 

That was one of two near double-doubles he had this past week. In the opener at Academy of Art he ended one point shy, bringing in 10 rebounds to go with nine points. Then, he paired nine rebounds with the 23 points at Dominican to come up just short again.

He led the team with 20 points in the final game of the week, a loss at Holy Names. That and his 23 against Dominican made for his best two-game scoring stretch in his time as an Eagle.

Talma and Biola take on Azusa Pacific on the road Saturday night in their only game of the week.
