Alejandro Pelayo played an integral part in Biola's 1-0 shutout over Cal State San Bernardino last Saturday. The senior played all 90 minutes at centerback and helped limit the Coyotes to just two shots on goal during the match. Pelayo also made the play of the match's closing moments, chasing down a Coyotes attacker into the 18-yard box to dispossess CSUSB and eliminate the threat to Biola's lead. 

The Eagles will look to continue their winning ways with two more matches at home this week. They'll host Northwest Nazarene at Al Barbour Field on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then turn around to play No. 15 Fort Hays State (KS) on Saturday at 4 p.m.
