Christina DenBoer had her first semi-full week of competition this past weekend and impressed. She recorded 26 kills in nine sets, leading the team in kills-per-set with a 2.89 number.

The redshirt sophomore set her new season-best with 12 kills in Biola's dominant 3-0 win over Sonoma State to cap the week. She hit .333 in that match at .299 for the week while also accumulating 17 digs and getting in on two blocks. 

She played just nine of the Eagles' 14 sets but should be expected to play more regularly moving into the conference schedule.

Catch her and the rest of the Eagles at Chase Gymnasium this Saturday as they begin PacWest play with a home match vs. Fresno Pacific at 3:00 p.m.
