Biola University Athletics

Freshman Esther Lee earns her first Biola Athlete of the Week honor after going 3-0 last week in the Eagles' No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles slots. 

Lee concluded her week with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 victory in singles against Colorado Mesa this past Saturday and also pushed another singles fixture to a third set on Wednesday before the match was called due to rain. She is also on a mini two-match winning streak in doubles with partner Lauren Lee after the duo took care of their two fixtures this week by scores of 8-2, 8-7 (7-4). 

E. Lee and L. Lee are 3-1 overall in the No. 1 doubles flight since they teamed up for the first time on March 6. The team will play for a third win in a row and try to help the Biola to its second team victory this coming Wednesday when the Arizona Christian Firestorm come to the Biola Tennis Center. 

Doubles play on Wednesday is scheduled to begin a 4:00 p.m.
