Stephanie Jewett stole the show on Thursday night in Santee. The sophomore hitter from Cary, North Carolina led the Eagles in attack attempts and kills ans she recorded double-digit kills for the second time in her career at Biola.

Jewett wins Biola Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career as she helped lift her team to its 22nd victory of the 2016 season and helped the team move into sole possession of second place in the Golden State Athletic Conference. 

She got the 10 kills as the Eagles worked a three-set sweep of San Diego Christian. She landed the kills while taking 25 attack attempts to record a hitting percentage of .250. Jewett also had one of the team's three solo blocks and was in on two other blocks as well.

Biola Volleyball concludes its regular season on Thursday in Costa Mesa at Vanguard (13-19, 9-5 GSAC).
