Miles Brubacher is this week's Biola Athlete of the Week because of the statement he made at Saturday's Charles Bowles Invitational in Salem, Oregon. Brubacher was the Eagles' top finisher as he completed the quick 8k course in 24:52. 

Brubacher placed ninth overall in the field of 208 running at Bush Park. The 24:52 was seven seconds faster than her previous season-best (24:59 at the Biola Invite). It was the first time this season that he was the Eagles' top finisher.

Brubacher and the team get back to competing on Oct. 15 as the compete at the Cougar Challenge hosted by CSU San Marcos.
