Karly Dantuma led the Eagles to a perfect week. She and No. 2 Biola went 3-0 with three 3-0 victories, including two big Golden State Athletic Conference wins.
The sophomore outside hitter ended her week wit ha team-high 37 kills in the nine sets she appeared in. That was good enough for an average of 4.11 kills-per-set, which is her highest weekly average of 2016.
Dantuma was busy all over the court this week as Biola took down Chapman, Menlo and William Jessup. Not only was she one of the key attackers, note her .262 hitting percentage, but she was also in on seven blocks and ended the week with three service aces.
All three of her service aces actually came in back-to-back-to-back plays in the Eagles' Tuesday night win over Chapman. She also had 19 kills in that matchup, which helped her end the night with 22.5 points, which is a game-high for any Biola Volleyball player in 2016.
She and the No. 15 Eagles resume GSAC play this week and look to improve on their 13-5 (3-0 GSAC) record. Biola plays at The Master's on Tuesday and at No. 3 Westmont on Saturday.
