Jimmy Gallarda had another fantastic week as he led Biola Baseball to its ninth series in a row without a losing series. The junior had a fantastic start on Friday against San Diego Christian and also did some damage with the bat as Biola went 2-1.

Gallarda's start was an absolute thing of beauty. He pitched seven scoreless in a complete game shutout during the second game of Friday's doubleheader. He allowed just six hits and had a 2:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. The seven scoreless innings extends his streak to 20.2 innings in a row without allowing an earned run.

With the bat he hit .333 (3-for-9) in the three-game set. He added his second homerun of the year and drove in three runs in the series as Biola earned a 10-9 win, 2-0 win and a 5-7 loss.

His performances helped Biola raise its overall record to 23-19 and its Golden State Athletic Conference record to 12-9. The team has three GSAC series left on its schedule including this weekend's three-game set that concludes play at Eagles Diamond for the 2016 season.
